Aryabhata’s mathematics influenced global science. His sine tables reached Islamic scholars, shaping astronomical tables and later aiding European navigation. His use of zero as a placeholder transformed arithmetic, laying the groundwork for algebra. In Hindu gurukuls, students applied his methods to real-time astronomical problems, preserving his work through centuries of oral and written traditions.

Despite colonial efforts to dismiss Hindu knowledge, Aryabhata’s work persisted. His calculations inspired later Indian mathematicians and resonate in modern space exploration. His legacy proves that Hindu science was not myth but a disciplined pursuit of truth, etched in the stars and numbers that continue to guide us.
